Time is absolutely flying by. I had my baby shower on Friday and it was great. I received many great gifts from my bedding and a play yard to really cute clothes and shoes. I still need several more things (diapers, eek!) but I feel like we have a pretty good start thus far.
I am approaching my 36th week and nineth month of pregnancy. I can’t believe my due date is less than five weeks away! Robert still moves around like crazy except now he likes to kick on vital organs and my ribs. It can be quite painful, but I’m still having fun. Several stretch marks have popped up on the bottom of my stomach, unfortunately, but I suppose that’s not such a bad price to pay to finally get my little baby.
I think at my next appointment my doctor will start to check on my progress, i.e. if I’ve started to dialate yet. I’m excited to find out where we’re at in this process. I’ve been getting the feeling that Robert will come early but who knows. I could be completely wrong on that, and I won’t be at all surprised if I am wrong. I guess all we can do is wait and see.
